This photo was taken at the Carter Family Fold in Hiltons, Virginia on July 5th, 2003. The Hawkins County Grass, a band my uncle Dewey Goad and dad Pete Goad played in, used to perform there frequently. Johnny Cash made a special appearance that night. This image appeared in the Kingsport Times Newspaper.
